
Requirements for Indefinite Residency in Ireland
To qualify for Stamp 5 (Without Condition as to Time) permission, applicants must meet the following criteria:

✔️ 8 Years of Legal Residence – Applicants must have completed at least eight years (96 months) of legal residence in Ireland under the appropriate permissions (e.g., Stamp 1, Stamp 3, or Stamp 4).
✔️ Good Character Requirement – Applicants must provide evidence of good character, including no criminal record or breaches of immigration conditions.
✔️ Compliance with Previous Permissions – The applicant must have fully complied with the conditions of all previous residency permissions.
✔️ Current Legal Residence – Applicants must be legally residing in Ireland at the time of applying.
✔️ Application Timing – If an applicant holds Stamp 4 or Stamp 5, they can only apply within the last six months of their current permission.
