If an applicant wishes to change to a different Minister of Religion position in another organisation, they must follow the required process.
Application Process for Changing Sponsoring Organisation
An applicant must:
- Leave Ireland and apply again from outside the State to the Preclearance Unit before their current permission ends.
- Pay the requisite fee for the new application.
Maximum Duration and Rules
- An applicant can only work as a Minister of Religion in Ireland for a total maximum of three years, regardless of the number of applications.
- The three-year period can be broken into separate durations, such as:
- Three periods of one year each.
- Two separate periods of one year and two years.
