✔️ Individuals with permission to remain due to:
    🔹 Marriage to an Irish national
    🔹 Marriage to an EEA national
✔️ Those on student conditions (Stamp 2 or Stamp 2A) – Generally not eligible for long-term residency.
✔️ Individuals who were lawfully employed for five years with an employment permit or were involuntarily made redundant before completing five years.
✔️ Those who obtained residency under an Irish Born Child scheme and have had their permission renewed.
✔️ Individuals granted permission under:
    🔹 Turkish Agreement (Stamp 4 – one year)
    🔹 Humanitarian or refugee status
    🔹 Family reunification schemes
✔️ Those who hold intra-company transfer permission.
✔️ Individuals employed at a foreign embassy in Ireland.
✔️ Those residing under visa permission.
✔️ Holders of Green Card Employment Permits.

Exclusions

❌ Time spent in Ireland under a Work Holiday Authorisation Scheme does not count towards long-term residency.
